Dupe

[edit]

Dupe of this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boss_Rush_mode Someone want to merge?

Oops, I missed an existing article again... ~ Polobird 07:34, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Now I'm more confused. The "Boss Rush Mode" article has much less information than this one, in fact, it's part of this now. Perhaps we should get content with this "Boss Rush" article and delete the other one.
I also wonder if Capcom's Megaman series can be included in the list of games which include Boss Rush, since while the bosses are not fought in direct succession, it's rather similar, that is, fighting multiple bosses first before getting to pass, with limited resources.

I added tags suggesting the articles be merged, as suggested above. My suggestion would be to place the "Boss Rush mode" article's information under the "Boss Rush" article heading, because the mode is a subset of all Boss Rushes. That's because not all games that have a Boss Rush also have a Boss Rush mode. For example, a video game can have a finale which involves rushing all the bosses, but not have an actual selectable Boss Rush mode. Therefore describing the mode properly belongs under the more general heading "Boss Rush". Dugwiki 15:47, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reference needed showing term's use

[edit]

Although the article makes clear what a Boss Rush is, it doesn't provide external references verifying that people actually use the term. For example, provide some examples from game reviews or game terminology sources that demonstrate "Boss Rush" isn't simply a term made up by the article's author. (The term probably isn't made up, but the article needs to prove it.) Dugwiki 15:52, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:JP Castlevania Harmony Dissonance Title.gif

[edit]

Image:JP Castlevania Harmony Dissonance Title.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
